The hazelnut-and-cocoa cream is prepared with the best hazelnuts from Lazio, tonda romana gentile cultivar. Using a traditional method, hazelnuts are roasted in an old cast-iron oven, not exceeding 100°C. Therefore, the valuable nutritional substances are kept unaltered; no emulsifying agent is used in this preparation: product emulsification is guaranteed by means of a fully natural method where ingredients are constantly mixed for 18 hours in order to obtain the best creamy and spreadable consistency, without the aid of emulsifiers. La Golosa is made without adding sugar and milk, and it is also suitable for people with special dietary needs.
